The DevilBotz kicked off the 2026 FRC season with a fast‑paced and highly productive day.
After the game reveal one group built a detailed list of every action the robot could perform, while another dug into the game manual. Students then moved into design brainstorming, ranking tasks, sketching ideas, and comparing concepts. Midway through the day, both groups merged to challenge assumptions and refine the most promising approaches before returning to deeper design and rule analysis.
We wrapped up with a full‑team strategy discussion, aligning on what goals and mechanisms seem most viable for this year’s robot. It was a strong, collaborative start.
